This fungus pendant is carved after the species Morchella elata
A foragers favourite and belonging to a group of fungi called ascomycota. These fungi are generally not your usual toadstool forming fungi and produce unusual fruit bodies and this one is no exception. With a beautiful folded texture making the cap and a little stumpy stipe - it's so cute!
